I want my students to feel fully present in their bodies during class, leaving behind the stresses of daily life and focusing solely on their movement—though they might also wonder if I’m going to make them do hundreds! I also strive to make the experience enjoyable, whether it’s through the music I play, the exercises we do, or the incredible sense of community that inBalance has built.

I want people to leave my class feeling challenged and feeling capable. I want people to focus on all the things their body does for them rather than focusing on what it looks like. I also want people to enjoy coming to class and feel the mental and emotional benefits.

Dani

In my classes, I want my students to feel stronger, more confident, and refreshed. Many people have come to me either starting their fitness journey or looking to get back on track. They leave with a sense of accomplishment and newfound energy. For example, one of my students started with no experience in Pilates.

I strive to get to know my clients on a personal level by understanding their unique needs and goals so I can tailor the workouts continuously challenge them and help them grow mentally and physically. I'm known to make clients break a sweat and have a blast while doing it!

I love Pilates because it has helped me achieve a balance between my mind, body, and spirit.

Cynthia

I want to create a welcoming space where students are encouraged to embrace themselves as they are, tap into their inner strength, and honor their individual progress. I remind my students that the strength they cultivate on their mat stays with them in every aspect of life.

Heather

I'm so glad that inBalance is a small studio, as I enjoy being able to tailor the workout to the individuals in my class on a particular day, as well as building a community with my regulars. I often poll students in my classes to find out what their goals are, which exercises they love (or love to hate LOL!), and props, equipment or music they find motivating so I can be try to include something for everyone!

I think Pilates is helping me age more gracefully, especially in terms of how I feel (because if I'm being real, a bikini body is not the most important thing to me anymore!!). Pilates is helping me stay strong, maintain great balance, and keep my joints happy with mobility work.

Yoga is for everyone and everybody. During the class, we move mindfully, learn breathwork techniques, and focus on alignment. I hope that every member gets exactly what they need when they come to my class, so they can take tools home with them to incorporate into their daily life.

Mareina

I want my students to leave class feeling energized and accomplished in their bodies. I love to focus on form and mastering movements that we practice regularly to show that we are progressing in getting stronger and better with each class.

Pilates helped me connect my mind and body while regularly working out without stressing out my body too much.

Wendy

The goal of my classes is always to " leave better than you came!" I love when we finish a class and someone says " I'm so glad I came!" You never regret making a positive movement and showing up.

As a dancer, I am always looking for ways to help my balance, flexibility, mobility and strength.

Amy

I hope that students leave my class feeling grounded, mobile, strong, aligned and empowered to do the things they want, need and love to do with more ease and less pain.

As a former ballet and modern dancer I had a lot of pain and dysfunction in my movement patterns.
