Students in my classes not only get to move, they also get to know their bodies. I want students to leave my class feeling more connected to themselves, confident in their movements, and motivated to come back. Long time members often comment that my classes never stop challenging them.

How did you get started in health and fitness?
I got started on my Yoga journey in January 2000 because I thought "I could exercise sitting down". It didn't take long for me to develop a relationship with the practice and it has enriched my life in more ways than I can count.

How did you get started in health and fitness?
I danced from childhood through college, where I studied Kinesiology. I went on to earn my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, so you could say I've been studying movement my whole life! After I became a mom, I looked for ways to incorporate my love of movement into my busy life and found a home at InBalance!
What is your favorite class to teach?
I love all my classes for different reasons! Barre comes most naturally to me because of my background in dance, but I love the balance of strength and flexibility in Pilates and Barefoot Bootcamp is just a good sweat!
What do you want every person to get out of your class?
I would like each person leaving my class to feel that they have gotten a balanced full-body workout, that they have cleared their minds for some time, and that they have gained a some confidence in the process!

How did you get started in health and fitness?
After becoming a mom, I was determine to reignite my fitness journey. I tried routine exercise at the gym and other small studios in the area when I was fortunate to find inBalance in June of 2013. This is where I truly learned how to push myself beyond traditional workouts and realized I could challenge my body further and extend this same motivation to others.
Hope Pedraza
inBalance founder and creator, and fitness and wellness expert, Hope Pedraza, fell in love with dance at the age of 3 and has yet to stop moving. Born and raised a Southern girl in Louisiana, Hope Cowgill Pedraza has had a passion for rhythm and movement since she could walk, and danced her way through high school and college when discovering the benefits of Pilates.
