I was born in Borger TX, grew up in Ennis TX.
How did you get started in health and fitness?
I was a college athlete, so have always been pretty active, but after having children I realized how important fitness is for your overall well being, not just physical.

How did you get started in health and fitness?
In college, group fitness started out as a stress reliever and hobby for me and eventually morphed into a passion. I worked at UTSA for 5 years in student affairs and career counseling full-time before deciding to stay at home with my two kiddos.
Paul Pedraza
Where were you born and raised?
Born and raised in Victoria, Texas, Paul moved to San Antonio in 2003 to attend St. Mary’s University where he received his degree in Marketing. While he currently works as an independent staffing consultant, he also serves as the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer for inBalance… and he just so happens to be married to our owner and founder! You can find him at many of our special events and community outreach classes.

Where were you born and raised?
Julia is originally from Wyoming and has also lived in California (Bay area), Iowa, and Utah.
How did you get started in health and fitness?
Always being active, in 2013 she challenged herself to earn her certification as a Group Exercise Instructor through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and in 2015 she successfully completed her 200 hours of yoga teaching, earning her Yoga Alliance Recognized RYT 200 Certification.

My students and private clients leave feeling impressed with themselves if they let me build them up! It's my job to make sure each person knows they can do it and that I can see their unique gifts because truly they are there even on day one! Pushing ourselves physically helps us to establish more mental strength and so each client leaves feeling stronger in ways they didn't think, they will feel more connected to their bodies, their breathing, and hopefully there will be a seed planted of hope and enthusiasm!
Becoming an inBalance instructor has given me many things like strength, endurance, mobility, and much more, but the most valuable transformation I had through our Pilates based classes was the ability to help bounce back from having my first child.

How did you get started in health and fitness?
I have been a student of health and fitness most of my life - dancing in my childhood and adolescent years, group exercise classes during my college and early adult life, as well as training and running ten half marathons in the last five years.

How did you get started in health and fitness?
I have always lived a very active lifestyle. As soon as I could hold up a softball glove, my dad had me out in our back yard playing catch. Let’s just say I started young and have been going strong ever since.
