I want my students to feel fully present in their bodies during class, leaving behind the stresses of daily life and focusing solely on their movement—though they might also wonder if I’m going to make them do hundreds! I also strive to make the experience enjoyable, whether it’s through the music I play, the exercises we do, or the incredible sense of community that inBalance has built.
Pilates is a natural fit for me, blending my 15 years of dance experience with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree in a way that feels intuitive and rewarding. I fell in love with Pilates while attending classes with my mom, drawn to how seamlessly it can combine weight lifting, cardio, flexibility, and agility into one empowering practice.
