I want my students to leave class feeling energized and accomplished in their bodies. I love to focus on form and mastering movements that we practice regularly to show that we are progressing in getting stronger and better with each class.
Pilates helped me connect my mind and body while regularly working out without stressing out my body too much. I was looking to lower my cortisol level while improving my mind and body connection. To this day I find myself using the principles of Pilates in my day to day life. I am also more aware of my body movement while doing exercises like Pilates and lifting weights.
