Trying to enjoy the holidays but without all the calories? Try these recipes for delicious holiday drinks with fewer sugar and calories.

Irish Coffee

1.5 oz whiskey + 8 oz coffee + 1 tbsp coconut sugar (or brown sugar) + 1 tbsp real whipped cream= 147 calories, 9 g sugar

Hot Toddy

a cup of black tea, a half-shot of brandy, a tablespoon of honey and a squeeze of lemon= 113 calories, 5 g sugar

Eggnog

Save yourself up to 600 calories with this version! Blend all ingredients together. This recipes makes 1 drink.
1 3/4 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
2 frozen bananas (or you can use 1/2 cup silken tofu for a little less sugar, but it will definitely be less sweet)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon clove
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons bourbon (or rum if preferred)
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup, optional
