I want my students to feel supported and encouraged to reach their goals and potential. One of our committed members was dedicated to becoming stronger and I witnessed her going from saying she couldn't do a plank to achieving not just a plank but she went beyond her goal of the plank to doing cardio exercises and other core strengthening movements she would not have attained had she not been encouraged to push further. She learned we no longer say can't, but we use the thing we "can't" do as a goal to reach for while safely progressing until completion.

I have played soccer my whole life, but rarely would I workout to improve my soccer skills. Once I became consistent with Pilates (in my mid 30s), I noticed a difference in my game. My shots were harder and further from the goal, my balance improved tremendously, helping me stay on my feet when fighting for the ball, and the stability in my ankles were life changing. Pilates helped me be a better soccer player.
