Michele Cantu is a longtime plant based and vegan, athlete/fitness enthuses, mom of two, FT manager, and is committed to living a full and healthy lifestyle following a plant-based diet since 2006. After spending nearly 15 years in leadership within the government and non-profit sectors, Michele has turned her focus to her passion, fitness and nutrition education. Michele holds a BA in Psychology and MA: Organizational Development and recently obtained, certifications in Food, Nutrition, and Health as well as Nutrition, Chronic Diseases, and Health Promotion in 2018 and is committed to helping anyone looking to live a healthier lifestyle. Working in business, management, and economic/community development, Michele is confident in her abilities to transition her professional skills into community health and wellness.
Michele enjoys spending time in the gym and periodically competes in bodybuilding competitions. She has earned a spot to compete at the national level with the NPC Federation in 2017 & 2018 and is proud of doing a bodybuilding prep on a 100% vegan diet. This year, she has taken a break from bodybuilding to focus on tapping into nutrition education but plans on competing again. Michele will soon be an inBalance instructor and currently works on corporate wellness for InBalance.
